A jury on Friday held Rebecca Grossman responsible for the killing of two brothers who were crossing road when her car hit them.
The incident happened in Westlake Village, California.
Grossman is an important personality as she along with her husband Dr Peter Grossman has established the Grossman Burn Foundation.
The jury of 9 men and 3 women in Van Nuys courtroom pronounced the verdict.
She was found guilty of two counts of murder, 2 counts of gross vehicular manslaughter and 1 count of hit and run in the 2020 case.
The 2020 case involved Mark and Jacob Iskander aged 11 and 8 who were killed when Rebecca's speeding car hit them.
The sentence in the case will be announced on April 10.
Rebecca Grossman faces a sentence of 34 years to life in prison.
The boys' mother thanked God for this verdict and said that she had been waiting for this day for 3 long years.
Grossman's lawyer called the verdict unexpected and vowed to appeal.
