Latin American countries have a huge potential for the tech industry. Due to this, many American giants have found success here and some are working with local businesses.

The region is gradually growing in the tech sector and is soon going to be a major supplier of tech talent to North America. Here is a list of seven most technologically advanced countries of Latin America.

Peru: The country is targeting an increase in IT exports and supplying tech talent to America. It is now trying to use robots to reforest Amazon.

Venezuela: Supported by foreign investors the country is trying to rapidly increase its tech startups, which have been lagging behind despite having a huge potential.

Argentina: Despite having a massive potential for the tech industry, Argentina has not been able to grow technologically due to its economic woes. But now the government here is investing majorly in the tech industry.

Colombia: The country's growing tech industry is making a significant impact on the business environment here. Audiovisual projects and data processing are two industries which are growing rapidly.

Mexico: The country's tech hiring has been booming though the industry has witnessed major layoffs in many countries. Mexican city Merida is fast becoming a tech hub.

Chile: With the total tech industry market worth about $9 billion in 2021, Chile's tech industry is making rapid progress. In 2021, Chile's tech industry accounted for about 3% of the country's GDP.

Brazil: The country's impressive tech industry was expected to grow by 8% in 2022 and stands 10th in the world in the IT market. Already involved in the artificial intelligence sector, Brazil's tech industry is expected to rise rapidly with 5G deployment.
